I see them

This illness has given me a lot of time to write so forgive me if the next few days results in a bombardment of posts.

I can’t compare to the girls who desire you
I see them
Society’s idea of perfection
Exotic, mixed, tropical, colourful
The greens, the blues, the hazels
I see them
Those who every man has hounded
Placed up high in the trophy cabinet
Desirable because they are desirable by others
I see them
God’s masterpieces
Flawless everyday
Additional beauty gifted with the aid of make up and weave
I see them
Slim
Thick
God beautifully crafted them whilst observing an hour glass
I can’t compare to the girls who desire you
I see them but can you see me

I don’t need to be every mans dream just the guy that I see
I want him to see me
The laughter I bring
How I can put him at ease
The effort I throw into trying to make his day a better one
The attentiveness
My aura, the calm that surrounds me
My pursuit of happiness
Can you see me amidst the perfection
Can you see me amidst the beauty
Can you see me amidst society’s choice
I may not stand out but I do not blend in

I can’t compare to the girls whom desire you
But I don’t want to
