My Poetic License

I’ve lost my confidenceBecome a mess

Queasy, sick, can’t breathe

Stuttering when I speak

Fluttering deep down

Can’t steady myself

All balance lost

In desperate need of air

I’m suffocating

Meditating to the touch

Murdering to the sight

Soothing me

Unnerving me

Unnerving me

Unnerving me
Unearthed in the mouth

Sick

Try to swallow

But the fog won’t disappear

Haunts me

I’m embarrassed now

Ashamed

Comfortable in my own skin

Fun loving

Stripped bare

Left to only hide behind my insecurities

Stroking me

Unnerving me

Unnerving me

Unnerving me
